Self Balancing Bicycle Demo

Posted: 26 Apr 2011 05:13 AM PDT

Professor Andy Ruina is a mechanical engineer and cyclist and also a professor at Cornell University. He spent over 25 years figuring out why a bicycle can't balance on its own. He's finally figured out why it happens and also has a solution. When we are riding a bicycle, we think we are riding in a straight line, however, when the CG of cycle falls to the left, we counter it by steering to the left and when it falls to the right, we steer to the right to make sure that the CG of cycle stays right in the middle.

Do You Practice Yog?

Posted: 26 Apr 2011 12:24 AM PDT

There are many Yog (Yoga) followers all over the world. It's believed that Yog has immense healing powers and ability to remove stress. Engineers life is full of solving complex problems and it results into stressed engineers who aren't able to give 100% to the work.

I'm wondering how many CEans practice Yog? Have you experienced any benefits from it?

PS: I started practicing Yog since last 4 weeks and I feel better and calmer. I don't get angry quickly anymore () and I believe I've a long way to go.

There's other group of people that thinks the the black money can be brought back to India and sooner or later, it will happen.
