How Do I Become an HVAC Mechanical Engineer? Posted: 05 Oct 2010 05:33 AM PDT Training through a certificate, associate's degree or bachelor's degree program usually is necessary to become a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanical engineer. Success in this career requires being able to create blueprints and design and install HVAC equipment. This work can range in scale from a single home to a multi-story commercial building. A degree or training will help teach you the trends and techniques you will need to become an HVAC mechanical engineer. It is more than simply being able to design a system that heats and cools a building. There also is an emphasis on making these as energy efficient as possible. Mechanical Engineering |
