| Posted: 25 Nov 2010 09:26 PM PST Friends, We have a Dell PowerEdge R710 with Xeon process for our web application. We are using MySQL database. and Ubunto 64bit Server edition. My problem is that, while running a large query it takes merely 45 secs to 60 secs to complete the query. It seems that the MySQL is not using more than one core. just using only one cpu. The mysql process is using 100% of cpu, while running the query. How to tweak/ force / configure MySQL to use mutiple cpus/cores. so that the query runs faster. Thanks in Advance |
