wireless charging of mobiles and laptops

i would like to know about wireless electricity charging...low voltage electrical energy transfer which could be used for charging of mobiles and laptops...i heard its based on resonance of coils and i would like to know about it in detail...can anyone help me ???

Rotating Stand for X-ray machine

Ok so I am currently an apprentice and for my first project I was hoping to make a rotating stand for our X-ray machine, idealy the stand would rotate both ways but one way would be sufficient, i'm not looking for the whole thing to be done for me just a nice place to start from. Any ideas?
