Posted: 24 Jun 2011 06:02 AM PDT I m making an agro-bot! that's an agricultural robot. It's supposed to go around the plants of vegetables on the field, and spray pesticides on the vegetables and drop the fertilizers! And if the vegetable is ripened, pluck it out!!:) This is gonna be an autonomous bot. So, whacha think? |
Posted: 24 Jun 2011 05:56 AM PDT I m interested in making an all terrain robot. It'll basically run on wheels, or i might change my plan to 'belts'. But the basic question about is the motor that runs the wheels/belts.;) I have been using those DC motors, which are of average size, of 30/100/200/30 rpm, etc. for all my other robots. they require around 12 volts & 1 amp. The thing that am worried about is that the torque provided by those motors, on a 'muddy terrain', might not be sufficient. Although the wheels r BIG, the motor is the key to the locomotion of the robot, according to my experience. So i wanna make an informed decision so as to choose a suitable motor, for a 'muddy/swamp-like/sticky' terrain. Openly speaking, the robot will run on an agricultural field!!:D Note- A friend of mine suggested 'motor bike starter motor'. I have considered that as an option, but i want to hear it from you guys before i kick start my project. I know CEans would help me out on this one  |
Posted: 24 Jun 2011 05:38 AM PDT Quality of life, a concept that gets great significance precisely in the details, which mostly did not pay attention to their existence, but once a small detail is missing, we will feel the difference big time. All of us at the blinds have (yes, yes, one of those little details), we condemn the Israeli sun, warming the house, and provide us with countless hours of sleep on Saturday. You could say that if we do not have shutters in life will seem a little less good, and those of us who have electric shutters when they go bad it can make a big headache. If so, how do we deal with electric shutters repair the most efficient way? |
Need Help To get my Project In Working Condition. Posted: 24 Jun 2011 04:10 AM PDT Hello Everyone I am a student of ECE and am making a clap switch project with this circuit.Electronics for You-Circuit Lab- Free and tested circuit diagrams-Clap Switch I have completed all of the circuit on the PCB But I am unable to understand where to connect the relay to the circuit. I also want to know whether the circuit operates on AC or DC voltage and also its operating voltage (9V or 230 V). Does it need two power supplies 9V DC and 230V AC Does This circuit require a regulated power supply That converts 220 V ac to 9 V dc? And at last what is that load thing attached to the negative terminal of 230 V 50 Hz AC supply. Please Explain. Could someone help me. I am desperately in need of help. Thanx in Advance.:( |
Posted: 24 Jun 2011 02:58 AM PDT consider a very simple circuit consisting of resistor and a dc voltage source. How do electrons move in the wire(connecting resistor and source) when there is no potential difference across its ends. considering that voltage refers to measurement of potential energy that exists to move electrons from one point to another. where am i wrong here? |

Amazon In India: Infibeam Acquisition Likely? Posted: 23 Jun 2011 09:08 PM PDT Folks at Pluggd.in broke out news today that Amazon - world's biggest online retailer is now entering in India and they are likely to partner with an existing ecommerce portal. Earlier, Amazon was in talks with Flipkart for their acquisition and one of the founders of Flipkart was in US for a long period of time to negotiate with Amazon. However, the talks fell apart after Flipkart asked for a very high buyout price. It's being said that Amazon is likely to acquire Infibeam - another startup in the same domain. Overall, that's a great news for online buyers and sellers. What are your views on Amazon entering India? |
