Just UC Browser7.7 have been released, next I will share the experience of using the latest version to evaluate its highlights and analyze the reasons why it is much more popular. Dial+Number to get quick access to site in the start page A most important method to form finer public praise is improving user experience. UC Browser does much better than most other mobile browsers. In UC Browser 7.7, its "My Shortcut" function has been optimized compared to which of the former version in the start page. Here I notice it add and Dial mark right on the My Shortcuts, then press "Dial" key in your keyboard it will display nine quick access, and we can add quick access ourselves, import from bookmark and history, and edit or remove the added ones. Press "Number" we can access to the corresponding site. If going to enter the site of My Shortcuts,p ress combination key "Dial+Number" can access the site directly. Here we enter Yahoo Sports to see the next optimization of UC Browser7.7. No more glary in night mode In the latest version, UC Browser has also optimized its page reading. I compare the night theme with the former version, here we can find it set lower brightness for not only text and background but also image, which may bring users better reading, especially for those who prefer to read by handset that make a softer reading environment. In the mean time, we find the new night theme apply to both static and dynamic images Input directly in website for Java Version At the volley we use yahoo search engine to input "uc browser", we can see UC Browser optimize its text input function that users can input words directly on the same page, which reduce the input steps. In order to bring users better experience, UC Browser 7.7 still put great emphasis on many details and optimize its operation and page reading. These new features will be easily accepted by users. What surprises may UC Borwser bring to us? We are bursting to see the next version. |

PayPal And eBay Filed Lawsuit Against Google Wallet Posted: 27 May 2011 04:11 AM PDT We covered Google Wallets yesterday on VoiCE, and now its in news that, PayPal and eBay have filed lawsuit against Google charging that the Internet giant tapped into trade secrets for its newly released Google Wallet. Google did not immediately respond to the allegations. PayPal spent three years trying to work out a deal in which it would handle payments for Android smartphones, only to see Google scuttle the talks and hire its lead negotiator Osama Bedier, according to court documents. Choosing electric motor for rotating platform Posted: 27 May 2011 12:08 AM PDT Hi all, i want to build a solar tracker, which will have a platform, which will rotate in azimuth direction according to sun motion. The platform should have max tangential speed of 1.03 m/min (summer speed) and min tangential speed of 0.017 m/min (average speed). The platform will be put on wheels and the electric motor will be attached to the wheels. I will use 30cm diameter wheels for this application. For precision of 0.01 degrees, the wheel will have max 1.09 RPM and min 0.018 RPM. I have calculated the torque needed to accelerate the platform and also estimate the torque that needs to be overcomed due to friction. Basically, this is the total torque which i need to rotate the platform. My question is; how can i calculate the torque needed for the motor to drive the wheels? Can i just simply divide the total torque with the number of wheels used? The torque and RPM are needed to choose the suitable motor for the system. It would be also very helpful to me if you can suggest the supplier or which electric motor i should use for this application. Thanks in advance |
Driving Options for the Disabled Posted: 26 May 2011 09:23 PM PDT If you are disabled, but want to drive, then you can get yourself a vehicle that is modified to suit your special requirements. The most important controls to look out for are the hand controls for acceleration and braking, which are generally linked to the pedals. # Steering Controls # Speed Controls # Gear Changing Controls # Parking Brake Controls # Pedals In order to control speed, most adapted cars tend to rely on hand controls for acceleration and braking. |
How to Steer Clear of Dangerous Drivers Posted: 26 May 2011 09:22 PM PDT No matter how safe a driver you are or how all your family members practice the best defensive driving techniques, every time you hit the road, there will always be some other driver you need to watch out for. Irrespective of age, defensive driving is extremely important for drivers who are young as well as old. But how do you steer clear of dangerous drivers on the road? * Watch out for drivers who use cell phones. * Speeding, tailgating and drivers who change lanes too quickly can also cause accidents. * Always pay attention to the road ahead of you, the road behind and to your sides. |
