Injection molding machine

Posted: 17 Apr 2011 05:56 PM PDT

Nowadays, injection molding is one of the most common manufacture process in the world of in industry. The process is injection a material into a mold, is used in everything from engineering. In theory injection molding is a simple process, can manufactured simple or intricate parts. Although every machine is different, normally the method is the same. However, failures can result operator error.
1 Set the mold into the injection mold. The nozzle aligning the machine with the channel on the mold through which the molten plastic flow.
2 Take the injection material into the injection machine and turn on the heater to melt the material. This heater will melt the plastic and also heat the mold, material flow completely through without solidifying.
3 On the machine turn off any safely guards to protect yourself from splattering material.
4 Set the clamp pressure on the molding machine, the clamp pressure should have determined the design process of the mold.
5 Clamp the mold use the hydraulic on the injection molding machine. This is ensure material will not leak out of the mold.
6 Set the injection pressure on the molding machine, the injection pressure also should have determined the design process of the mold.
7 Press the button on the injection molding machine to fire the material into the mold.
8 Remove the mold from the injection molding machine and after remove the parts the mold is enough cooling to handle. Keep the heater, you don't need to wait.
9 Take the mold back into the injection mold and repeat this process.

Hey guys,i am the material engineering student and new in this forum, i have problem in getting the information about comparison of used and new crankshaft after tempering process, so i would like to asking you about the problems or defects recently happened on crankshaft, and the time to crankshaft usually get problem. What type of material they are used to produced crankshaft. More explanation in detail required. Thanks guys for help me.. ;););)

Bearings , pinion , counter shaft

I have problems in getting the concepts related to slow speed mill Pulverizers : Ball mill or tube/drum mill type. They are using reduction gear box single stage and has cooling coils of water to cool the oil. How will it be arranged and why do we need to make system bulkier?

2) I dont understand why do we need bearings? what are their types? And oil system also for bearing.
3) In the drum mill , they use counter shaft with pinion. It swayed away my head.
Why do we need this arrangement?

Please CEans help me out..
