Yahoo Shuts Down MyBlogLog

Yahoo is officially closing down their service 'MyBlogLog'. They sent following email to the customers -

You have been identified as a customer of Yahoo! MyBlogLog. We will officially discontinue Yahoo! MyBlogLog effective May 24, 2011. Your agreement with Yahoo!, to the extent that it applies to the Yahoo! MyBlogLog, will terminate on May 24, 2011.

After May 24, 2011 your credit card will no longer be charged for premium services on MyBlogLog. We will refund you the unused portion of your subscription, if any. The refund will appear as a credit via the billing method we have on file for you. To make sure that your billing information is correct and up to date, visit https://billing.yahoo.com.

A pharmaceutical firm wishes to allocate P50000 towards advertising in newspapers and magazines. This intention of the firm is to maximize the exposure of its advertisement. Each page of the leading newspaper cost P500 and each page of a magazine cost P1000. It is guaranteed that each page of the magazine will reach the audience of 250000 while 50000 persons will read each page of the newspaper ad furthermore, it is specified that at least 1 page of the magazine and newspaper will be allocated for the firms ad. find the number of pages of magazine and newspaper ad that will maximize the exposure and still remain within the budget P50000.
P.S. P= Pesos(currency of Philippines)

Dragonfly Insectothopter

Developed by CIA's Office of Research and Development in the 1970s, this micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) was the first flight of an insect-sized aerial vehicle (Insectothopter). It was an initiative to explore the concept of intelligence collection by miniaturized platforms. The Insectothopter had a tiny engine to move the wings up and down. A small amount of gas was used to drive the engine, and the excess was vented out the rear for extra thrust. The flight tests were impressive; however, control in even a slight crosswind proved too difficult to overcome.

Setpoint Regulation for Stochastically Interacting Robots

Video about an integral feedback controller that regulates the average copy number of an assembly in a system of stochastically interacting robots. The mathematical model for these robots is a tunable reaction network, which makes this approach applicable to a large class of other systems, including ones that exhibit stochastic self-assembly at various length scales. This controller works for a range of setpoints and how to compute this range both analytically and experimentally. These ideas are demonstrated on a physical testbed.

Sony Ericsson Yendo W150

Sony Ericsson Yendo W150 is a walkman series phone (indicated by 'W') available in India at price Rs. 5200/- inclusive of taxes. The phone features 2.6" capacitive touchscreen display @ 240x320 px resolution.

It has 2MP camera for video and photo capture and the device is powered by Li-Po 970 mAh BST-38 type battery. Regular features include FM radio, Video Player with support to MP4/H.263 formats, Class 10 GPRS & EDGE connectivity Bluetooth and USB connections for data transfer.

Inside the plastic body, the phone utilizes 156 MHz processor. It features a basic HTML browser which you can use for your casual browsing. The phone supports up to 16 GB of external memory. The internal memory is very limited at just 5MB.

The box comes with 2GB microSD card, Travel Adapter, Data Cable and the standard transreceiver set along with user guide.
