Functional Dependency Preservation Problem

I have a problem regarding decomposition of a relation. Suppose i have a relation R(A,B,C,D) with functional dependencies A->B, B->C, C->D, D->A.

Now I have divided this in the following three relations :
R1(AB), R2(BC), R3(CD).

My question: Is the functional dependency preserved in this decomposition? If yes, then How?

Help! MS Access specialists around?

I am trying to create a database in MS Access, which is supposed to give me reminders in MS Outlook when an entry in a date field goes past today's date. I know it is possible as i have seen it somewhere before, but i just cant get the code correct.. Anyone lending a helping hand? Pretty please with sugar on top..:)

Buliding and electric vehical,,,, NEED HELP

hi,
am planning to make a electric scooter,,,something like SEGWAY scooter
am planning to connect the two wheels with a single shaft and wanna drive it wit a chain drive ......
am not able to get the exact motor rating for it some please help me...

the specifications are
two wheels connected to single shaft with a sporket mounted on the shaft
max.load 80kgs(human weight)+30kgs vehical weight
wheel dia 12"

please tell the the torque required to make it move and also tell the power required for the motor

Hey guys,

I am learning PHP and working with the same on my project. I am stuck midway.
Could someone tell me how to test received and sent mails on localhost?

To elaborate, I want to show that on button click an email is sent to the email address already specified by user locally.
