| Inside view of DC generators & motors Posted: 18 Dec 2010 10:26 AM PST Somebody please give me some basic diagrammatic view(some link having inside pictures will surely help) of dc generators and motors as m not finding them in my books and without some real knowledge of these machines am unable to learn about them........thanks in advance:) |
| Posted: 18 Dec 2010 08:50 AM PST I m designing an electro-mechanical solenoid. Its input is DC current. But, my guide asks me to mention its voltage rating. What is this and how to find it out? |

So please tell me where to start and i am doing alone, none of my friend is interested in doing such things, so will this be expensive for me to make projects ??? pls help... i don't have contacts with my seniors.. |
| Electro-mechanical solenoid for robotic shooting mechanism Posted: 18 Dec 2010 03:45 AM PST Actually I am designing an electro-mechanical DC solenoid to be used as the shooting mechanism in a robot. It has to strike a ping-pong ball. Can I use a permanent magnet in place of a ferro-magnetic core?? if yes, then which option would be better? |
