| Posted: 24 Nov 2010 10:49 PM PST hello friend's, I have some read about IPV4.In IPV4 protocol there is a basic header. That contains TOL(time to live bit indicator). It helps to detect the corruption of routing table by decreasing a variable. So i think that there must be some facility by which we can also calculate the no of routers a datagram have to pass during it's transmission. Anybody have idea that how to know how many routers our datagram have to cross during it's transmission to travel a data from a server to a client pc. Is there any application that have the feature to show the no of routers that a datagram have to pass during it's transmission...? |
