phpmyadmin- need help in foreign key creation

hi..every1. i need a help in creating foreign keys in phpmyadmin. here.. i have used phpmyadmin for creating database. in this i have created 2 tables- employee and department. employee table has deptno as 1 of its attributes. this deptno is in department table as primary key..i have to define deptno of employee table as foreign key that references to deptno in department table. now, there is an option in phpmyadmin for including primary key constraints but there is no such option for includinf foreign key constraint..
plzzzz help...:(

Don't Ask For Ready Made Programs

Answers to most of the basic questions can be found in text-books and on the Internet. We encourage you not to ask for ready-made programs/codes or help you with your homework. Instead, we encourage you to share your efforts with us first and tell us exactly where you are stuck. I'm sure all our brilliant CEans will be more than happy to help you.

I request all our regular members not to provide ready-made codes/programs to anyone on CE. Instead, help them code it on their own and be always ready to help and guide the new members.

combining solar and wind energies

We are planning for a project, where we are combining the powers generated from solar panels and wind turbine and feeding it to the load through the grid. Power can flow in and out of the grid, so that maximum power is taken from the alternate sources, but is also backed up by the grid, in case of shortage. Also, when the power from the alternate sources exceeds the consumption, the excess power is fed into the grid, so that the meter spins backwards and the E.B. bill gets reduced.
Our major project would be to tame the powers coming from both sources using a regulator, convert it into ac power using an inverter, and then feed it into the grid, before supplying it to the load.
As its a very large scale project, we are planning to simulate it. Kindly give us suggestions regarding the softwares which would best suit this project. Thanks in advance!

Iran's Nuclear Energy trying to stop a Computer Worm

Iran's nuclear agency is trying to combat a complex computer worm that has affected industrial sites throughout the country and is capable of taking over power plants, Iranian media reports said.

The computer worm, dubbed Stuxnet, can take over systems that control the inner workings of industrial plants. Experts in Germany discovered the worm in July, and it has since shown up in a number of attacks — primarily in Iran, Indonesia, India and the U.S.

The United States is also tracking the worm, and the Department of Homeland Security is building specialized teams that can respond quickly to cyber emergencies at industrial facilities across the country.

CE: Hi Dileep, you are a Crazy Electrical Engineer, tell us more about yourself.

Dileep: Hello CE family,
This is Dileep from India and I am persuing B.tech 4th year.I am very passionate about engineering and my aim is to do M.S in USA.I always stood first in class in my school days and was the class representative and I have captained my inter cricket team.I love drawing and i am innovative in designs.

CE: How did you get introduced to Crazy Engineers (CE)?

Dileep: Sahithi is my best friend in CE family as she introduced me to CE. I used to browse CE for new ideas and innovations and now I'm addicted to it.

CE: Why did you take up “Electrical” as your engineering trade? What do you like most about it?

Dileep: I and electrical engineering are both like same poles of a magnet but somehow I have managed to get attracted to it as electrical engineering is my father's ambition but he didn't able to become an engineer because of some economic problems as he now sees an electrical engineer in me.I am very happy to be an electrical engineer and I am lucky to be an electrical engineer and if I do achieve anything the entire credit should belong to my father.

CE: What do you like the most about yourself?

Dileep: I am assertive,cautious,self confident and I have gone through hard times in my life and managed to solve them and I always believe on something which is hard will some day makes our life very easy.

CE: What is your favorite pass time?

Dileep: I used to chat on net with others especially of opposite gender because it's always hard to chat with girls.

CE: Who are your idols or inspirations?

Dileep: My favourite and idol is Sachin Tendulkar and he inspires me in any aspect standing front shows hard work and dedication can give great success.

CE: What is the biggest achievement in your life so far?

Dileep: My first dance show in my Intermediate 2nd year which i am very nervous about stage as I know nothing about dance at that time and had managed a miracle out of nothing.

Dileep: Failed for the first time in maths in my B.tech 2nd year and finished it in the next attempt though.

Dileep: I will do M.S and will settle in a good job still trying to learn and do something good and different and CE moderator :)

CE: If you were a politician, what will your 5 year plan look like?

Dileep: I strongly believe i may not be the same as I am now after being a politician and I don't think the plans will be implemented but I try to provide food to those who still can't feed their stomach and still working their heart out all the day and education to everyone will be my later action.If this can achieved I can have a successful 5year plan.

Questions on Capacitor

Q1. How capaitor acts as a filter ?(reason behind its action)
Q2. Why capacitors with high capacitance are used at power rails and the one with low capacitance at power dips ?? ( i am asking how to decide which capacitor should be used where )
Q3. Why capacitor blocks dc current while allows ac current to pass? i know mathematically but want to know physically

Martin King, the co-creator of software that lets you type rapidly on your mobile phone while guessing your words, died last week after a long fight with cancer.

"It leaves a big hole in the Seattle tech community because Martin was known as a real innovator," said Bill Valenti, the former chief executive of Tegic (the company that owned the product). Tegic Communications was founded in 1995 by King and Cliff Kushler to commercialize the breakthrough mobile technology, with the Seattle company later selling to AOL for $350 million. It is now a part of Nuance Communications, with T9 deployed on an estimated four billion handsets.

AVAYA Introduces Polycom killer 11.5-inch enterprise tablet Tablet for $1200-1500

AVAYA is introducing a new 11.5" tablet that it says will kill the polycom in cubicles and conference rooms in corporate offices. The tablet, apart from being a tablet acts as a SIP phone as well as office collaboration tool.

Problem Concerning C Lang

I started learning C programming a month or two ago.
I tried to use the clrscr(); fuction in the program
i have included conio.n and stdio.h , but the compiler i use throws up "Undefined reference to clrscr()" error while compiling. Anyone know why? I googled ( as i usually do when i meet with a problem) but nothing..
I am using the latest version of Code::Blocks

Automatic curve horn

hi CEans,
i am 3 year mechanical engineering student,i got one idea in automatic horn when takeplace curve position in roads, hillstation while vehicles in running.

This horn very useful in curve position of accident zone, hillstation, night time driving .

we had think varible resistance is placed in steering and while taking any sensors
for judging curve position its automatically takes horn.

we placed any digital circuit for seeing whats the angle that curve takes,for that we adjusting curve angle for eg.30 and 40 degree

this is my small idea please give your opinion .i am waiting for your comments
