CE is Open To Media Partnership With Your College Events

Posted: 25 Sep 2010 06:35 AM PDT

CEans,

We are happy to announce that we are now open to all the media partnership requests for your college events. If you are organizing techfests to sports meet to annual gathering to alumni meet - you can get CE as your event media partner.

By associating with CE, you'll be able to brand your event and college in over 180 countries around the globe among the audience that matters - all engineers !

Please note:

1. We are selective in choosing our partnerships. That does NOT mean we associate only with famous colleges only. Even if you're organizing any event in your college for the first time, you can still have CE as your event partner.

2. Our media partnerships are give-and-take. We will help you reach thousands of engineers around the world and in return, we ask you to tell your event visitors how awesome CE is :). That's it, no money involved.

3. We enjoy associating with event organizers who match our speed and professionalism.

4. We make sure your event gets publicity through all available channels on CE (Viz. Forums, blogs, announcements et al.)

5. We entertain all the queries and respond to 99.99% of them.

6. Even if you are not in the organizing committee, you can inform your friends who are in the organizing committee.

7. We provide free goodies (t-shirts, caps)to select partnerships that offer greater reach to us among their audience. We will even sponsor prizes for few competitions.

Sure, you are hooked to the Facebook! Now Hollywood is ready with the movie based on the founders of Facebook and how Facebook came to life. The title of the movie is "The Social Network" with tagline "You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies"

The movie directed by David Fincher stars Jesse Eisenberg playing Mark Zukerberg (Founder of Facebook). The movie is based on the book written by Ben Mezrich and the screenplay comes from Aaron Sorkin.

How (will you) / (did you) spend your first salary?

Posted: 25 Sep 2010 05:38 AM PDT

Tell us how will you spend your first salary; or if you are employed, how did you spend the first salary?

Did you blew it off on parties? Or did you put it in your savings accounts? Or, did you buy a gift for your family members?

  • CE-Baron
  • CE-Mentor
  • CE-Chief
  • CE-Tycoon
How cool is that?
Looking forward to your suggestions and feedback.

Simple Projects

Posted: 25 Sep 2010 04:29 AM PDT

I am a 2nd year mechanical engg. student. me and my friends were thinking about some small project that can be amazing but at same time affordable. we dont hav too many ideas since we just stepped into 3rd semester.we had thought of idea like magnetic suspension with just a permanent mag. & an electromag.,wheelchair working on recharge able cells along with solar panel,.....but i guess most of these were already patented..so are there projects that we can give it a try..but if possible get a patent?

An awesome book on Robotics i came across...

Posted: 25 Sep 2010 03:06 AM PDT

hi guys,

i am right now reading this book called "The Robotics Primer" by Maja J Mataric.

i took this book from my college library using my very last library card (that which i often called "the life line", to be used only when i'm badly in need of a card, its not safe to be with out a spare library card my friends said :) ) but i was happy i did use it.

it is a must read for all those who want to make a break into the field of robotics.

the author has done an awesome job so far...

so guys do check it out

if anyone of you have other books or other resources you recommend do post it here :)

cheers :)
