Student Club

Hi,

I'm a senior at a University in the states, and I am trying to get an electrical enginnering club going at our school. I don't have a problem getting kids to join, or participate in activites, I have guest speakers and tours already lined up for the school year. But I'd like to be able to give the underclassmen something to do. Build something or make some little competition among themselves. But I'm having a hard time comming up with good projects or competitions for them. Could anyone here please give me any ideas? Anything would be welcome.

thanks for your time

Source: TechCrunch

TechCrunch has reported that Yahoo is considering moving most of the core engineering work to Bangalore, India. This means large number of Yahoo job openings at Bangalore.

This includes YDN (Yahoo Developer Network, the platform for third party apps to be installed on the Yahoo home page) for the most part. And Yahoo confirms that some California based YDN engineers are being moved to other projects, calling it a "pretty minor internal shift of resources."

What do you think about this?

Note: Yahoo's PR is yet to confirm this!
