| ripple factor for capacitive filters Posted: 21 Sep 2010 05:30 AM PDT sir, we have a formula for ripple factor for capacitive filters.. r.p=1/(4.s.r(3).f.c.R) SO...FOR HAVING LOW RIPPLE FACTOR,we need to have load resistance more.. so a capacitive filters is used for low load currents... here my doubt is keeping load resistance minimum and taking high value of capacitance too,we get low ripplefactor...right sir..?? then why dont we prefer high capacitance value..?? |
